Translating Bulgakov into English!
Following our trip to Kiev last Autumn, we’ve finally finished an English translation of the visitor guide for the Mikhail Bulgakov museum in Andreevsky Spusk. The original had quite a quirky, conversational style, which required a lot of difficult translating decisions! I think we have made a passable rendering of it, but it may benefit from a little more editing.
The museum seems very happy with our translation, and we are also pleased to have been nominated Comrades of the Month by Soviet Literature website Sovlit.Com. Here is an online copy in PDF format.
