Lou Reizner acetate
No picture this time, but another Apple acetate is for sale on Ebay, this time by Chicago-born record producer and singer, Lou Reizner. Tracks on this 12″ disc are Fireside Eyes, First Cut Is The Deepest, Toi Juliette, Better By Far.
This sounds like an interesting find for fans of early 70’s rock, not only because of Reizner’s work with Rod Stewart and Ron Wood, but also as an early outing for The First Cut Is The Deepest, which later became one of Rod’s signature tunes. (It was written by Cat Stevens and originally appeared on his 1967 album, New Masters.)
