Brother James and Sister Mary
Interesting to see this French James Taylor single on Apple: Taylor had “Carolina” released among the first tranche of Apple singles in the US, but no single was released in UK until “Carolina” was released in 1971. Clearly Taylor was deemed worthy of a single in mainland Europe, but there the track chosen from his eponymous debut was the more up tempo “Knocking Around The Zoo”. (”Something’s Wrong” appears on the B-Side as usual!)
Nice sleeve picture and design: many similarities to Mary Hopkin’s “Prince En Avignon” released shortly afterwards.
